Looking for a new menu in Winnipeg that really whets the appetite? We are happy to share our brand new menu of soups, salads, and starters, available at Buccacino's. Whether you’re pressed for time or just need a little bite to tide you over, enjoy some truly unique specialties and make a meal without even buying a main dish!
This new menu is full of the most popular dishes in the world of Italian dining, but all with our special touch. You will find recognized favourites of Italian cooking such as Bruschetta, Risotto, and Zuppa, but you won't see any bland or predictable creations.
Instead, Buccacino's in Winnipeg has decided to reinvent the favourites! There’s "Bruschetta Piatto" with almond encrusted goat cheese, or "Bruschetta Formaggio" with feta, pesto and a savoury balsamic glaze. Risotto gets transformed into "Risotto Corquettas" or small balls of delicious mushroom risotto that have been delicately fried and served in an innovative aioli given a special "kick" with jalapeños.
The starters also include seafood delicacies done in spicy sauces, delicate creams, and even P.E.I. mussels done in three delicious "ways". Our customers’ only complaint is that it is tough to choose between the red wine marinara; a bacon, cheese and creamy dream; or a curry sauce with pineapple and toasted coconut!
The Zuppa and Salads are no run of the mill dishes either and we find that our diners love to dive right into a bowl of our hand-crafted soup of the day as well as the silken cream of tomato with garlic and basil accents.
Our salads are just as innovative and include an ample "Sicilian" salad that incorporates a long list of healthy and delicious greens, vegetables, and cheeses all tossed in lemon vinaigrette. There is also our unique "Fig Salad" with mixed greens, goat cheese, prosciutto chips, figs, and a delicious honey and balsamic dressing. The "House Beet Salad" is another way we help you get your greens and veggies, and includes pea shoots, snow peas, honey and dill marinated beets, leeks, and a caramelized onion and poppy seed vinaigrette.
We offer a long list of salad "Accessories" too, including different types of seafood and chicken.
